Fil dr. Department Administrator
I have a PhD in Cinema and Gender Studies and work as a research administrator at the Department of Gender Studies since August 2012, even if I have worked as a teacher and supervisor at the department since 2009.
My research interests include film and gender theories and the relationship between cinema and videogames, art, photography, etc. The aim of my doctoral thesis with title Analysis of the cinematographic image of lesbianism through the main characters within Spanish cinema (2009) was to analyze the cinematographic image of lesbianism and bisexuality in Spanish cinema by critically analyzing and evaluating full-length films produced in Spain from 1972 to 2005 starring lesbian characters.
