Gender Studies: Gender in a Global World (7,5 credits)

Are you interested in developing your theoretical skills within Gender Studies? This course provides you with an understanding of current feminist theories within the Social Sciences.
The objective of this course is to introduce you to Gender Studies on the advanced level. 
 
It provides students with the opportunity to acquire in-depth understanding of intersectional perspectives in relation to gender, migration, globalisation, power and change. The course focuses on current events that you will analyze with an intersectional perspective. You will also practice your ability to prepare and lead seminars.
 

This course is 7,5 hp and runs every fall semester.
