Information for students

Here you will find useful information in preparation for the fall semester.

The administration and study advisor's offices at the Department of Gender Studies will be closed during the month of July. (Serious emergencies are referred to our Head of Department, Lena Karsson: lena [dot] karlsson [at] genus [dot] lu [dot] se) Note that the Swedish summer holidays are about to start and most staff members are away from mid-June to early August. Please be patient if you are trying to reach us during this time and expect longer response times.

More information about how exactly teaching will commense at the Department of Gender Studies during the autumn semester will be sent out to all admitted and current students in the coming months. We expect the education to be conducted both on campus and digitally at the department. Please be patient as things can change. General information is updated continually at the Lund University covid-19 information pages for new and current students.

For those of you who have applied to a course or programme, please see information on your application at University Admissions. If you have questions about your application, contact the UA contact centre, or the Lund University Admissions office.

Letters with information about courses and introductory meetings will be sent out three weeks before the fall semester begins. Course schedules, syllabuses and reading lists will also be found on the courses' webpages about the same time.
