Current research and teaching
My PhD project looks at the phenomenon of male sex workers, specifically at men who sell sex and other sexual services to other men in Sweden and Italy, through the internet. The legislation and its effect on life and on the work of the sex workers is the first aim of my research. Moreover, I also investigate the relationship that is established between sex workers and their clients, the services provided, and the class position of the so-called supply side.
I teach quantitative methods and SPSS to postgraduate students at the Graduate School of Lund University and sociology to undergraduate students at the University of Milan, Italy.
