Background
I am currently employed as a PhD candidate at Lund University in the Division of Gender Studies. My academic background encompasses Philosophy and Gender Studies. For my master's thesis, I explored violence by delving into childhood memories of gender non-normative youths. Additionally, for my MPhil thesis, I delved into the realms of storytelling cultures, narrative truths, and fiction in describing gender and sexual subjectivities.

Ongoing Research and Teaching
My PhD project centers on films, specifically within the regional context of Manipur in Northeast India. At the heart of my research is an exploration of discourse and narratives to unpack gender and sexuality.
Before affiliating with Lund University, I worked as a visiting faculty member at the Centre for Undergraduate Studies, The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Guwahati Campus, India.
