Welcome to Gender, Social Change and Modernity in Sweden/ Scandinavia!

Study period: January 15 - March 19 2024
The course explores key Scandinavian political, social, feminist and literary texts in relation to gender, and analyses early movements for women’s rights in relation to the development within the labour movement. Overall, you will gain knowledge about gender, social change and modernity in Sweden/Scandinavia, covering the period from late 1800 up to the 1950s, and reflect on gender relations from an intersectional perspective.

Web registration period: 8 - 15 January
Before the start of the semester, you need to register to the course. You register for the course in Ladok for students. Please use your student ID to log in. The registration is open from 8 - 15 of January, after this you will have to contact the administration to register.

Learning platform, schedule and more
At Lund University we use the digital learning platform Canvas. During the course, teachers will use Canvas to publish assignments, lecture notes etc. To access Canvas please log in with your student account. Information on how to activate your student account.
